Job summary

The Perfume Shop is seeking a Store Manager to lead a busy team and drive performance at our store. You will be accountable for daily operations, coaching staff, maintaining high standards of customer care and hitting key targets.

A supportive environment and clear progression path await the right candidate. You will manage rotas, stock, security and opening/closing routines, while emphasising exceptional service and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a retail store in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on team development.
• Excellent customer service and sales focus.
• Understanding of KPI metrics, sales targets and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to motivate and support a diverse team to hit targets.
• Deliver store daily, weekly and yearly targets and communicate shift expectations.
• Review store performance and implement action plans to address challenges.
• Open/close procedures with secure processes and proper cash handling.
• Prepare and manage rotas and ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee stock control and minimize stock loss through controls.
• Mentor and coach staff with regular 1:1s and recognition of achievement.
• In recruitment, identify talent, passion and spark to build a strong team.
