Intersport Elverys in Cork is opening its biggest store yet on Patrick Street and is building its management team from the start. We are inviting applications across all levels of management to join as the store launches this winter.
The Store Management team will oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage people, and maintain the highest standards of customer experience and Visual Merchandising while delivering KPIs.
We’re opening our biggest and most ambitious store yet on Patrick Street, right in the heart of Cork city centre, and we’re building our management team. With our winter opening on the horizon, we’re now inviting applications across all levels of management to be a part of it from the start.

Our Store Management teams are responsible for the overall operations and sales performance of our stores and ensuring that the right people and product are in place to achieve and exceed Company expectations.
Every aspect of day-to-day operations in the store, including sales, team members, customer experience, security, health & safety, stock and resources management.
Meet and exceed store targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Recruit, train, coach and manage team members in line with company policies, ensuring fairness and consistency to all.
Manage all cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required (TMS, BC, etc).
Drive excellent Visual Merchandising in store to engage, inspire and educate the consumer.
Ensure all in-store services are suitably manned and promoted, e.g. Safesize, Assisted Selling, etc.
Be security conscious ensuring to follow company security guidelines aimed at deterring pilferage and protecting stock.
Responsible for overall Health & Safety in store. Ensure all team members are fully trained and following company policies and procedures with regard to Health & Safety.
Identify current and future customer requirements & develop additional non-direct business.
Ensure successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations.
Deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business expectations.
Key holder and main call out person in the event of alarm activation.
Provide cover for other stores as required.
Any other activities as required in order to ensure the successful operation of the store.
