Job summary

Company Details Confidential is seeking an experienced Stone Mason to join our team in Ireland. The role involves laying bricks and blocks on residential and commercial projects, preparing mortar, and following drawings and specifications to maintain high quality and safety on site.

The successful candidate will measure and set out work areas, build walls and partitions, and ensure line and level accuracy throughout the job, while working closely with the construction team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Stone Mason or brick/block laying role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stone Mason to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out brick and block laying duties on residential and commercial construction projects. Main duties include:

• Laying bricks and concrete blocks accurately according to drawings and specifications
• Preparing mortar and materials required for the work
• Measuring and setting out work areas
• Building walls, partitions and other masonry structures
• Checking line, level and alignment throughout the work
• Cutting and shaping bricks and blocks where required
• Repairing and maintaining existing brick and block structures
• Reading and following construction drawings and specifications
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Working effectively with other members of the construction team
• Following all site health and safety requirements
