Job summary

Global technology leader is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (AI and DSP) to join a highly technical Sensors team. You will lead technically challenging projects, influence system design and help develop next-generation sensor solutions.

You will work with global teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers while advancing AI, DSP and embedded systems expertise across R&D to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years, Master's with 3+ years, or PhD in EE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong DSP / digital signal processing and algorithm development experience.
• Embedded C/C++ programming experience.
• Python and/or MATLAB experience.
• Understanding of machine learning, linear algebra, probability and statistics.
• Strong analytical, systems engineering and communication skills.
• Unrestricted rights to work in Ireland via Citizenship or Stamp 4.
• Experience with MEMS, IMUs, accelerometers, gyroscopes or sensor fusion.
• ML libraries/packages and neural networks.
• Experience in semiconductor, automotive, mobile, IoT, wearables or XR.
• Technical leadership, mentoring or people management experience.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical Sensors team and work across AI, DSP, embedded software and systems engineering, taking technology from R&D through to commercial deployment.

As a Staff Systems Engineer (AI and DSP), you will lead technically challenging projects, influence system design and help develop next-generation sensor solutions. The Staff Systems Engineer (AI and DSP) will work closely with global systems, software and integration teams while providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
