Qualcomm is seeking an experienced engineer for their Cork location, specializing in sensor-based technologies. You will collaborate with global systems and software teams and be responsible for developing cutting-edge sensor algorithms.

The role requires strong skills in C/C++, algorithm evaluation, and mentoring junior engineers. You will play a critical role in the product life cycle, from R&D to deployment, ensuring high-performance standards in embedded software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, or related work experience.
• Experience in developing sensor algorithms in high level languages.
• Knowledge of MEMs & inertial sensors.

Responsibilities

• Work with global systems and software teams.
• Develop sensor algorithms including performance validation.
• Lead the systems projects from requirements to SW implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers.
