Job summary

Google Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Rollouts Sequencing to own the strategy and outcomes for complex deployment platforms. You will design scalable back-end systems and external APIs supporting hybrid and cloud-native environments, while driving AI/ML integration to improve reliability and enable faster deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development.
Experience in software design, architecture, and back-end systems.
Experience leading technical projects or teams.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy, scoping, and technical outcomes for complex challenges in the Rollouts Sequencing platform.
Lead design and implementation of robust back-end systems and External APIs for cloud-native environments.
Drive AI/ML integration to build an AI-powered deployment experience and reduce toil.
Align strategy across groups, influencing designs and plans beyond the project boundary.
Foster technical excellence in code health, maintainability, and architectural simplicity.
