The Sequencing team deploys changes safely and efficiently through an API-first, AI-powered deployment platform, focusing on minimizing outages and enabling scalable CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development.
• Experience in software design, architecture, and back-end systems.
• Experience leading technical projects or teams.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role driving cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Experience with AI/agentic development, prompt engineering, or leveraging LLMs to solve ambiguous software engineering or automation problems.
• Experience designing high-reliability, fault-tolerant systems in a production environment.
• Deep hands-on experience developing, deploying, or managing infrastructure on major cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Fluency in modern programming languages (e.g., Go, C++, Java, or Python).

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, scoping, and technical outcomes for complex, ambiguous challenges within the Rollouts Sequencing platform, focusing on API-first architecture and extensible policies.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable back-end systems and External APIs to support modern, hybrid, and cloud-native deployment environments.
• Drive the integration of AI/ML methods and agentic development to build an AI-powered deployment experience, reducing operational toil and improving outage detection.
• Navigate and align strategy across multiple groups, influencing designs and plans beyond your own project boundaries.
• Foster high technical excellence within the team, leading by example in code health, system maintainability, and architectural simplicity.
