Job summary

Archer in Dublin is seeking a Staff/Principal Software Engineer for Identity & AI Security to define the technical direction of its Identity team. You’ll build software that helps enterprises detect misuse of employee accounts, service accounts, applications and AI agents, and you’ll own architecture, code and technical delivery.

This hands-on role is an individual contributor opportunity with leadership responsibility, partnering with Security Research and Data Science to turn emerging security

Qualifications

• Production software experience in a product environment.
• Delivery of identity/security capabilities (authn/authz, identity platforms).
• Strong distributed systems and cloud-architecture skills.
• Understanding credentials, tokens, permissions, and secure access.
• Experience leading complex designs and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery from identity telemetry ingestion to customer-facing detections and security findings.
• Shape how the product understands identities, permissions, behaviour and risk.
• Build security capabilities for human accounts, automated workloads and AI agents.
• Lead complex designs, contribute production code and mentor engineers.
• Work with Python, AWS and Terraform, with extensive AI engineering tooling.

ExperiencewithEntraID,OAuth/OIDC,identitytelemetry,machineidentitiesorAI-agentsecuritywouldbevaluable.
