Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Staff Product Manager to drive the shift from raw telemetry to AI-powered diagnostics and autonomous remediation for database observability at global scale.

You will shape the vision for AI-driven root cause analysis and proactive recommendations, partnering with engineering and design to deliver end-to-end experiences. The role emphasizes leadership across complex data platforms and a bias for action.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience shipping technical products in data/analytics spaces.
• Proven track record defining strategy and delivering products used by technical audiences.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into focused strategies and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across multiple teams without formal authority.
• Excellent communication, customer empathy, and execution.
• Experience launching products requiring ecosystem adoption across self-serve and enterprise.
• Comfort with AI-enabled product experiences and balancing automation with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for MongoDB observability.
• Lead AI-powered observability including anomaly detection and proactive recommendations.
• Own product strategy for health, diagnostics, alerting, logs, and data visualization.
• Identify opportunities across the observability stack and improve operational efficiency for customers.
• Lead customer discovery with developers, DBAs, and enterprise teams; translate insights into product decisions.
• Partner with engineering and design to frame problems, define requirements, and deliver from discovery to launch.
• Establish clear success metrics using analytics, feedback, and market signals.
