Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting Staff Nurses for residential disability services across Cork City and West Cork. Join a well-established organisation supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in a residential setting.

We welcome applications from Registered General Nurses (RGN), Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN), and RNID, including newly qualified graduates. You will work in a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred care and promoting independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification and active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Open to experienced nurses and newly qualified graduates.
• Interest in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred nursing care to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Maintain high standards of nursing care and documentation.

The Role

As a Staff Nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. You will play a key role in promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life while ensuring the highest standards of nursing care are maintained.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment committed to delivering high-quality services and positive outcomes for service users.

Requirements

• Nursing qualification and active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Open to experienced nurses and newly qualified graduates
• Knowledge of, or an interest in, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and person-centred practice
• Full clean driving licence with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland
