Job summary

Corlann – West Region in Ireland seeks a Permanent Part-Time Staff Nurse/*Enhanced Nurse for Rindoon Services (Athlone, Kilteevan, Roscommon Town). Location: Roscommon area with allocation to residential/respite/day settings or community services, subject to service needs.

The post requires NMBI registration and a full clean manual driving licence; experience with intellectual disability is desirable. 60 hours per fortnight, includes days, evenings, weekends and some night duty.

Qualifications

• Current Live Register Certificate from NMBI (An Bord Altranais), RNID or RGN qualification is essential.
• A full clean manual Driving Licence is essential.
• Assistance may be provided to obtain a Class D1 licence if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team with a person-centred philosophy.
• Participate in person-centred planning, reviews and team meetings.
• Educate staff and family members in health promotion needs.
