Corlann in Castlerea is seeking Staff Nurse or Enhanced Nurse—permanent part-time and temporary full-time positions across residential, respite, day settings and community services. The appointee will support individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.

Experience in intellectual disability settings is desirable; relevant nursing registration and a full driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

Current Live Register Certificate from the NMBI (An Bord Altranais), RNID or RGN qualification is essential.
A full clean manual Driving Licence is essential (manual transmission).
Experience in intellectual disability settings is desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to work independently and with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

Provide care in Castlerea Adult Services across residential/respite/day settings or in community/home settings.
Be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and night duties.
Participate in person-centred planning, reviews, meetings and team performance discussions.
Educate staff and families in health promotion and patient-centred approaches.
