Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse qualification with active NMBI registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care to residents

• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing home policies
• Monitor residents health and wellbeing and respond appropriately to any changes
• Maintain clear, accurate and up-to-date clinical records
• Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare assistants and other members of the care team
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
• Promote residents independence, choice, dignity and comfort
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and clinical practice
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with HIQA standards, relevant legislation and best practice

Are you a caring and committed Staff Nurse looking to join a nursing home where residents are at the heart of everything you do? OC Recruitment is currently recruiting a Staff Nurse on behalf of our client, a well-established nursing home in Co. Meath. This is a lovely opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working with older people and takes pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a supportive and professional environment.
