Johnson & Johnson in Limerick is seeking a Supply Chain Automation Engineer to develop and support high-speed automated machines across PLC/SCADA, vision, robotics and electrical systems in a regulated, 24/7 production environment.

Development and technical support for high speed automated machines across the entire range of automation disciplines, including PLC and Safety PLC systems, Vision Systems, Robot control, Electrical systems, Servo Motion, SCADA and complex device integration
Develop Functional and Detailed Design Specifications from User Requirement Specifications
Develop high quality PLC and SCADA solutions from Functional and Detailed Design Specification
Commission and Validate PLC and control software as part of a highly automated, high volume 24/7 regulated production environment
Fault-find complex automation equipment
Work within a cross functional multi-discipline team environment supporting operations quality safety and other engineering functions to support production and deliver improvements in quality performance and product pipeline delivery.
Participates within project teams, provide technical support and make informed decisions on hardware and architecture selection.
Provide support to operations and other functions for automation related issues on the production lines.
Develop and maintain comprehensive change management and quality control documentation to Medical Device standards
Prioritize multiple tasks while working to tight schedules
May be required to:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5 plus years of similar experience including including PLC and Safety PLC systems, Robot control, Electrical systems, Servo Motion, SCADA and complex device integration
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Controls Compliance, Critical Thinking, Industrial Robotics, Industry Analysis, Innovation, Lean Supply Chain Management, Machine Learning (ML), Management Systems Implementation, Organizing, Problem Solving, Project Management, Prototyping, Robotic Automation, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Application, Smart Systems, Technologically Savvy
