Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Ireland is seeking a Staff Analog Mixed Signal Simulation Engineer to advance automotive mixed-signal verification within our R&D team. You will verify analog/digital interactions, drive IP-level requirements, and collaborate with test engineers to ensure robust, testable sub-systems for tape-out.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in silicon product development, strong knowledge of mixed-signal flows, UVM, and ISO26262.

• Develop mixed-signal verification solutions for next-gen automotive products.
• Verify analog and digital circuits and their interactions at block and chip level.
• Recommend partitioning of analog and digital blocks for verification strategy.
• Coordinate with characterization and test engineers to ensure sub-systems are testable.
• Define verification requirements and write Real Number Models of Analog Blocks.
• Support IP test and characterization for high-volume production.
• Ensure Functional Safety compliance across sub-systems and enable Design for Test.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• As a Staff Analog Mixed Signal Simulation Engineer, you will play an important role in the development of mixed signal solutions for the next generation of automotive products.
• Verify analog and digital circuits including their interaction with each other as well as verifying their integration at chip level.
• Recommend partitioning of analog and digital blocks for optimal verification strategy.
• Liaise with characterization and test engineers to ensure that the sub-system is fully testable prior to tape out.
• Work on verification requirements definition.
• Write and verify Real Number Models of Analog Blocks.
• Support IP test and characterization into high volume production.
• Ensure Functional Safety compliance across the whole sub-system and that efficient Design for Test procedures are implemented.

Your profile

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field with a focus on electronics.
• At least 5 years industry experience with proven expertise in Silicon product development, preferably in the system resources and power management space.
• Knowledge of analog, digital and mixed-signal design flows, along with requirement-driven development flows, requirement definition, and the ability to translate system specifications into IP-level requirements.
• Previous experience with UVM.
• Experience with the ISO26262 standard and working to meet ASIL-Requirements.
• An understanding of IP development, chip integration, timing analysis, testability, and mixed signal verification.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
