Job summary

Google Dublin is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within Turnup Org. You will lead a world-class team responsible for uptime, performance, and automation across Google services.

You'll own end-to-end availability, mentor engineers, manage follow-the-sun on-call rotations, and design scalable systems while shaping a culture of learning and collaboration in a complex, global environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience in one or more languages.
3+ years managing people or teams.
3+ years leading projects.
3+ years designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Software/Systems Engineers on projects for users and be directly responsible for uptime.
Own end-to-end availability and performance of key services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
Lead by example, mentor the team and establish credibility through quality technical execution.
Manage on-call rotations across continents, using a follow-the-sun model.
Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of Google's services.
