Sony Interactive Entertainment in Ireland is seeking a Senior Kernel Security Engineer to build, develop, and maintain kernel security features for PlayStation systems. • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Excellent debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work autonomously and within a cooperative group.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of operating systems and low-level programming.
• Experience contributing to widely recognized open-source projects.
• Effective communication abilities and the capability to clearly explain intricate technical ideas.
• A strong passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
