Job summary

Real is a global medical device company seeking a Senior Mechanical R&D Engineer to support the development and improvement of complex medical devices across the full product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team from concept and mechanical design through prototyping, testing, verification, validation and commercial launch, with emphasis on design controls, risk management, and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical device design from concept through verification and validation.
• Prototyping, testing, failure analysis and design iterations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve complex medical devices across the full product lifecycle.
• Perform failure investigations and sustaining engineering activities.
• Create and maintain compliant design and risk-management documentation.
