Real is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to join our Galway team on a long-term contract. The role centers on developing a next-generation Class III medical device platform, emphasizing design iteration, design freeze execution, and verification in a fast-paced NPD setting.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of medical device product development experience, hands-on verification testing, and strong problem-solving abilities within a regulated Class III environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical device product development experience.
• Experience supporting products through Design Freeze and Design Verification (DV).
• Hands-on verification testing, protocol/report writing, and test method development.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience in a regulated Class III medical device environment.
• Ability to drive technical workstreams independently with minimal supervision.
