Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
  • Proficient in operating systems including Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) and Windows
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies
  • Experience with Kubernetes, OCI images, nodepools, CNI, and cloud native applications
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and GitOps tools like Terraform
  • Ability to develop in.NET, Java (Spring), and/or Python

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to deliver creative solutions for design, development, and troubleshooting
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation, validating outputs and handling operational data securely
  • Drive workstreams or projects involving infrastructure engineering technologies, architecting and implementing changes to modernize processes
  • Advise on upstream and downstream data, systems, and technical implications, recommending mitigation actions
  • Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within delivery and automation routines to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options
  • Ensure changes are traceable, auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and advance technology initiatives
  • Operate and migrate across public and private cloud platforms
  • Administer and support cloud native applications and techniques
  • Set up and manage data streaming solutions using Kafka, Event Grid, and Service Bus
  • Develop and automate workflows using scripting languages and CICD tools
