Job summary

AMD invites motivated students to join as an intern in Dublin, Ireland, working full-time onsite during the term. You will participate in business operations projects, analyzing data, building dashboards, and supporting decision-making with insightful reports.

You will collaborate with AMD leaders, receive mentorship, and gain real-world experience across AI-related projects, data analytics, and process optimization. Start date January 15, 2027, end August 13, 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an Ireland-based university in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Knowledge/experience in data analysis, data engineering, or data science encouraged.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of project management tools and AI/RPA is a plus.
• Software development experience and database design/data modelling are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize business data to craft proofs of concepts, prototypes, and solutions using analysis methods and visualization techniques.
• Build data for prescriptive and predictive modelling to enable dashboard creation.
• Build reports and presentations to inform key business decisions.

JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Dublin, Ireland
• Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time onsite throughout the duration of the intern term
• Duration: Students must be available to start on January 15th and finish August 13th 2027

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team and work on various business operations projects. In this role you will -

• Analyze and organize business data to craft proofs of concepts, prototype, and implement solutions using relevant analysis methods and visualization techniques.
• Focus on building data for prescriptive and predictive modelling to aid data analysis and enable creation of dashboards using visualization tools.
• Build out reports and presentations to provide information to drive key business decisions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• You are currently enrolled in an Ireland based University in a program majoring in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• If you have knowledge/experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply:
  • Data analysis, data engineering, and/or data science
  • Business process modelling and optimization
  • Data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Project management tools and methodologies

  • Software development (including design, implementation, testing, and other related work)
