Job summary

Enable Ireland in Limerick is seeking a Speech & Language Therapist (Staff Grade) to join the CDNT team at Blackberry Park, Dock Road, Limerick. The role is a full-time permanent contract with a salary of €43,231 to €63,184 pro rata per annum.

You will provide SLT services to children aged 0–18 and their families within an interdisciplinary framework, across clinics, preschools, schools and community settings.

Qualifications

• Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
• Annual registration on CORU for Speech & Language Therapists.
• Full Driver's Licence with access to own transport.
• Postgraduate experience of working with children with disabilities in a community-based setting.
• Postgraduate experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs.
• Experience with Feeding, Eating, Drinking & Swallowing (FEDS) needs.
• Experience in conducting Assessment of Need assessments.
• Experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
• Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of Speech and Language Therapy services for young people (0–18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework.
• Deliver assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development.
• Work across settings including clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes and community settings.
