Job summary

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Speech & Language Therapist to work with adults in the Dublin South West region. The role involves assessment and intervention for communication and swallowing disorders within community, primary care, rehabilitation, and residential settings.

The successful applicant will be registered with CORU, have current CORU registration or eligibility, and demonstrate experience with adult caseloads and complex cases.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech & Language Therapist with CORU registration or eligible for registration.
• Experience managing adults with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
• Clinical leadership and ability to supervise juniors and students.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Provide dysphagia management plans following national guidelines.
• Maintain confidential clinical records in line with GDPR and policies.
• Supervise Basic Grade SLTs and therapy assistants.
• Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and audit.
