Job summary

Marymount University Hospital & Hospice in Cork seeks a Staff Nurse for Specialist Palliative Care. The role focuses on advanced symptom management and improving quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.

Applicants must be registered with An Bord Altranais and have at least two years of acute care experience. Desirable post-registration palliative or oncology qualifications are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Be registered in the relevant Division of the Register of Nurses.
• A minimum of two years’ acute care experience in the Irish health sector.
• Demonstrate continuing professional development at the appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert palliative care focused on symptom management and quality of life.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
