Job summary

Royal Homecare Limited. is seeking an experienced Special Needs Nanny and Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to care for two school-aged sisters in Dublin 14.

The role blends childcare with healthcare support for the eldest child who has SMA Type 1, including mobility and personal care assistance. The position requires at least two years of relevant experience, driving licence, and familiarity with complex care routines.

Qualifications

• Two years’ relevant professional experience.
• Experience supporting a child with physical disability or complex care needs.
• Experience in paediatric care or healthcare support.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, age-appropriate care to both children.
• Plan games, activities, outings and outdoor time.
• Encourage interaction, independence and reduced screen time.
• Assist with homework and daily routines.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the younger child.
• Support the eldest child with personal care and mobility tasks.
• Safely use a hoist and assist with wheelchair mobility.
