Job summary

Royal Homecare is recruiting an experienced and professional Live-Out Nanny Housekeeper for a warm and welcoming family based in South County Dublin.

The family has three children - a newborn and two older children aged two and four and is seeking a kind, capable and experienced nanny housekeeper to become a trusted and dependable presence in their home.

This is a long-term position, five days per week, initially approximately 45 hours per week. The role currently combines morning support with the children and housekeeping responsibilities during the day. From May 2027, the position will evolve to include full daytime care of the youngest child.

The two older children are currently in full-time childcare during the week, allowing the nanny housekeeper to focus primarily on household responsibilities during the daytime.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the children's morning routines and preparing them for the day
• General housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning and household organisation
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Helping with the smooth day-to-day running of the family home
• Providing additional childcare when required
• From May 2027, taking on full daytime care of the youngest child alongside continued support with the older children and household duties

The ideal candidate will be kind, honest, positive and emotionally intelligent, with the maturity and experience to confidently care for three young children. They should be highly organised, responsible and comfortable balancing childcare with household responsibilities.

Applicants should have proven professional experience as a nanny or childminder, ideally caring for multiple children. Relevant childcare qualifications and a valid, up-to-date first aid certificate are required. A full, clean driving licence and fluent English are essential.
