Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Spares Assistant to manage the technical spare parts program and maintain an effective spares management system. This is an onsite role without relocation support.

You will work with Engineering and the Spares Management Team to ensure accurate spare lists, CMMS updates, storage loading, vendor quotes, and KPI reporting. The role supports the budget and customer systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering to produce spare and wear parts lists.

• Maintain spares KPI reporting and budget oversight.
• Arrange logistics from supplier to customer.
• Support internal customers as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Supports the business in the management of the technical spare parts program ensuring a functioning spares management system capable of meeting the growing demands of the facility reporting to the Toolroom Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to accurately produce recommended spare and wear parts list.
• Work with Spares Management Team inputting and updating spares on the CMMS system.

• Loading and control of the vertical storage systems.

• Contact vendors for quotes in coordination with Purchasing.
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with internal customer base.
• Work with Spares Management Team on the management of the spare parts budget.

• Work with Spares Management Team on the ownership and reporting of spares KPI & Spares usage.
• Arrange logistics from supplier to the customer.
• Support customer systems where applicable.

• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with internal customer base.

• Perform additional duties at the request of the direct supervisor.

Basic Qualifications

• Previous production work experience would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in CMMS systems would be an advantage.
• Good computer skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Must have good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills.
• Must have working knowledge of the MS office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is€35,640.00 - €45,360.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
