Job summary

Atlantic Troy Limited T/A Só Hotels is seeking a Chef to assist the Head Chef and help run busy hotel kitchens across our group in Athlone, Limerick, Galway and Cork.

You will bring at least 5 years of experience in hotel kitchens, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure food preparation meets hygiene and quality standards. The role is full-time, 39 hours per week, with a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as Chef.
• No formal qualification required.
• Experience in hotel kitchen operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in running busy hotel kitchens.
• Cook daily according to business requirements for all hotel outlets.
• Coordinate and execute training of kitchen staff.

Job Description

Purpose Of The Job: To assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the Kitchen ensuring that all areas of the Kitchen are maintained to the standards required by the Hotel. Assist the Head Chef, deal with queries concerning the Kitchen staff. To assist in co‑coordinating and execute training of Kitchen Staff. To be able to motivate staff. To maintain a safe, hygienic and healthy working environment. To cook any food on a daily basis according to business requirements for all hotel food outlets.
