Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect in Dublin for a 6-month daily rate contract with hybrid working arrangements. You will own end-to-end solution architecture across applications and platforms, shaping architecture and leading integration across APIs, microservices, and event-driven patterns.

You will interact with EA, security, data and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable designs.

Job description

I'm currently working with a Dublin City Centre based client who is looking to engage an experienced Solutions Architect for an initial 6-month daily rate contract initially, working on a hybrid basis.

This role will have a strong focus on Application and Integration Architecture, working across complex enterprise platforms, applications and services.

Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple applications, platforms and integration points
• Shape application architecture across customer channels, operational systems, core platforms and enterprise services
• Lead integration design across APIs, microservices, event-driven services, messaging/MQ, batch and secure file-transfer solutions
• Define scalable, resilient and secure architecture patterns aligned with enterprise standards
• Produce solution designs and architecture artefacts, providing technical direction to engineering and delivery teams
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Security, Data and business stakeholders
• Present solutions through architecture governance and design assurance forums
• Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory and operational resilience requirements
• Define approaches to data migration, data quality and cleansing
• Manage architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt throughout delivery

Experience required:

• 7-8+ years' experience across Solution Architecture, Solution Design or related architecture roles
• Strong Application Architecture experience within complex enterprise environments
• Strong Integration Architecture expertise across APIs, microservices, messaging/MQ and event-driven solutions
• Proven experience designing end-to-end solutions spanning multiple applications and platforms
• Experience defining and applying architecture principles, patterns and standards
• Experience integrating legacy technology estates with modern cloud-based platforms
• Exposure to architecture governance, information security and service transition processes

Experience within banking, transaction banking, capital markets or financial services technology would be advantageous, while knowledge of Corporate/Retail FX or Capital Markets would also be useful.
