Job summary

Search Talent is recruiting for one of Ireland’s leading EU Competition teams, advising domestic and international financial institutions on complex Irish and EU competition and procurement matters.

You will advise a diverse client base working closely with colleagues across Corporate, Investigations and Procurement, providing exposure to both standalone advisory work and major domestic and cross border transactions.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years post-qualification experience in EU/Competition law.
• Experience advising on EU/Competition matters including procurement and investigations.
• Genuine interest in EU Competition law and evolving regulatory landscape.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness and practical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international financial institutions on Irish and EU competition and procurement matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Corporate, Investigations and Procurement teams.
• Contribute to standalone advisory work and major cross-border transactions.

The Role

The Person

• 5-9 PQE
• Experience or exposure advising on EU/Competition matters i.e. Competition, Procurement, Investigations

• Commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
