Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group seeks a Fully Qualified Electrician to install, commission, and maintain Solar PV systems across domestic, commercial and agricultural projects in Ireland. You will carry out testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance while verifying system performance and documenting certifications and grants.

You will work closely with roofing and installation teams to deliver projects on schedule and communicate professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with clear safety responsibilities.
• SEAI registration experience preferred.
• Current Safe Pass and manual handling training.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems to standards.
• Perform electrical testing, inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair PV electrical faults and verify system performance.
• Document project certification and grant paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems to Safe Electric and SEAI standards
• Carry out electrical testing, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair Solar PV electrical faults
• Verify and document system performance
• Complete required project, certification and grant documentation
• Work closely with roofing and installation teams to deliver projects on schedule
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding works and any scope changes
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and Health & Safety

Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician with valid FETAC Craft Certificate
• SEAI experience/registration preferred
• Strong electrical and safety knowledge
• Current Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels and Working at Height certification
• Full, clean driving licence
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to travel to sites across Ireland
• Eligible to work in Ireland
