Job summary
Dell Technologies Cork is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to validate manufacturing test systems, expand automation, and improve overall product quality.
You will develop and execute automated and manual tests, help build test automation frameworks, and validate systems combining software, hardware, firmware, and networking.
This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment, with exposure to AI-assisted testing tools as part of a cross-functional team.
Qualifications
- Two+ years in software quality engineering or test automation.
- Experience writing and debugging automated tests.
- Understanding of software development concepts and system behaviour.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated and manual test cases from requirements and designs.
- Assist in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Validate systems involving software, hardware, firmware and networking.
- Identify, debug, and document defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Participate in reviews to improve testability and quality.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.
- Learn and apply AI-assisted testing tools and workflows.
