Job summary

Dell Technologies Cork is seeking a Software Principal Engineer in Global Test Engineering, onsite in Cork. You will architect, design, and build advanced software for AI server and storage platforms, guiding the full SDLC within a high-velocity Agile team.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and product teams, delivering scalable, secure, and resilient software for high-volume environments, while mentoring peers and advancing AI-driven testing workflows.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of software engineering experience and strong fundamentals.
• Experience designing, coding, and debugging complex systems.
• Exposure to multiple programming languages, operating systems, databases, tools and hardware.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop sophisticated software systems for manufacturing and product needs.
• Lead and contribute across the entire Software Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Dell product and manufacturing teams to align with platforms.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and resilient for high-volume environments.
