• Write product or system development code.
• Design, implement, and test features on safe config deployments. Manage challenges in distributed systems, API development, and large-scale user migration.
• Define, monitor, and improve Service Level Indicators and Objectives to ensure high reliability and efficiency for config deployments, including root cause analysis of production issues.
• Apply AI agentic tooling to enhance system operability and engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with other teams, and service owners to deliver impactful config rollout solutions.

The Production 2020 program is an Software Reliability Engineering initiative with the mission to meaningfully reduce the amount of time a typical Google engineer spends on basic service management in production. The Rollouts Configuration team develops the platform, enabling Google service owners to deploy config changes safely and efficiently across different environments. We manage complex challenges in large-scale distributed systems to ensure reliable and performant config delivery for all of Google.
