Job summary

Bentley's documentation platform team seeks a Software Engineer to own and evolve a global, customer-facing platform. You will work across frontend, backend, and automation, integrating cloud services and REST APIs to deliver AI-powered documentation experiences.

The role involves shaping the technical roadmap, building production web features with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Python, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve publish workflows and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS in production web applications.
• Experience with backend development or automation using Python.
• Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and automation codebases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell experience preferred).
• Practical understanding of build, deploy, and release workflows.
• Experience integrating REST APIs into web applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted services and APIs; AWS experience is a plus.

• Improve platform performance, reliability, observability, and release processes.

We're looking for a Software Engineer to help own and evolve this platform. This hands-on role is ideal for a versatile engineer who enjoys working across web development, platform engineering, automation, and DevOps.
