Job summary

nineDots.io is building internal software in Ireland to consolidate documents and workflows into a single, efficient tool. You’ll own substantial parts of the product, shipping features end-to-end with a focus on desktop applications for internal teams.

We value practical React and TypeScript skills, 2–5 years of software delivery, and an interest in applied AI and automation. You may explore Rust/Tauri as useful capabilities to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product direction alongside the Lead Developer and take on increasing responsibility.

AI Product Engineer | Ireland | Up to €70k base

An established Irish consultancy is building out its internal software capability, and you’ll join a very small team with a big opportunity to shape it.

You will bring scattered documents, information and everyday workflows into one useful application. You’ll help turn manual processes into tools that save people time, using AI and automation where they make a practical difference.

You’ll work directly with the people using what you build. Understand the problem, help decide the approach, write the code, ship it and improve it.

The immediate focus is desktop applications for internal teams. Longer term, the ambition is to develop a customer-facing product, with mobile potentially further down the line.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong practical React and TypeScript experience.
• Ideally around 2–5 years building and shipping software.
• An interest in applied AI, integrations and workflow automation.
• Care for how an application works once real people depend on it.
• Rust, Tauri or previous desktop experience would be useful, but you can learn those on the job.

You’ll work alongside the Lead Developer, take on increasing responsibility and help shape how the product develops.
