Job summary

Amazon’s AWS Shield team seeks a Software Development Engineer to join our DDoS response group. You will design and build systems to keep AWS infrastructure and customer workloads safe from large-scale threats.

You’ll work on cloud services, distributed systems and web services in an agile environment, delivering an AI-driven analysis platform to detect, diagnose and mitigate events, collaborating with Software and Security Engineers to drive innovation and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• Experience designing or architecting distributed systems for reliability and scaling.
• Experience programming in at least one software language in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and build systems to detect, diagnose and mitigate large-scale DDoS events.
• Work on cloud services and distributed/web services within an agile environment.
