Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is looking for an experienced Axiom Developer to join a global Risk & Finance Technology function in Dublin. The role focuses on designing, developing and enhancing Axiom ControllerView solutions to support complex regulatory reporting and finance operations.

You will work with business users, Analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions, with emphasis on stability, performance, automation and regulatory compliance in a hybrid Dublin-based

Qualifications

• Axiom ControllerView experience (3+ years) required.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL (intermediate to advanced).
• Solid understanding of EU regulatory reporting such as COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit.
• Familiarity with XBRL and financial products/asset classes.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance Axiom ControllerView solutions for regulatory reporting.
• Develop and maintain business-critical regulatory reporting applications.
• Contribute to PoC initiatives involving Axiom and automation opportunities.
• Translate requirements with Business Analysts and stakeholders into robust tech solutions.
• Support stability and performance of existing Axiom platforms.
• Contribute to large-scale technology programmes and manage risks and dependencies.

About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Axiom Developer to join a technology team supporting critical finance and regulatory reporting platforms.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Axiom professional to work on business-critical systems, with a strong focus on stability, performance, automation and regulatory reporting.

You will work closely with business users, Business Analysts and technology teams to design and deliver robust solutions supporting complex financial and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and enhance Axiom ControllerView solutions to address complex business requirements.

• Develop and maintain business-critical regulatory reporting applications.
• Contribute to Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives involving Axiom and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, business stakeholders and development teams to translate requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Support the stability, performance and continuous improvement of existing Axiom platforms.
• Contribute to large-scale technology programmes and projects.
• Identify and proactively manage technical risks, issues and dependencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones.

The Team

You will join a global Risk & Finance Technology function responsible for delivering technology solutions across a broad range of finance disciplines, including:

• Accounts Payable
• Fixed Assets
• Client Profitability
• Corporate Tax
• Planning & Forecasting
• Regulatory Reporting

The successful candidate will become part of a team delivering a strategic technology platform with a significant roadmap of future enhancements.

The role involves working within a large-scale enterprise technology environment, collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams across multiple locations.

Candidate Profile:

• Axiom ControllerView – 3+ years' experience
• Oracle PL/SQL – intermediate to advanced level
• Strong understanding of EU regulatory reporting requirements, including:
• COREP
• FINREP
• AnaCredit
• Statistical reporting
• Understanding of financial products and asset classes
• Familiarity with XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment

Remuneration Package

A strong rate is on offer for the successful candidate. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office each week in south Dublin.
