Job summary

Research Ireland is seeking a Programme Manager to join the Research for Society Directorate in Dublin. The role leads the design, launch and ongoing management of a new Societal Initiative of Scale, coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact research programmes.

The role requires at least five years of programme management experience, NFQ level 8, and a track record of translating strategy into operational delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years relevant experience in programme or project management.
• Experience translating strategic objectives into operational delivery.
• Ability to manage budgets and multi-stakeholder partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and launch of new Societal Initiative of Scale.
• Oversee portfolio of programmes and calls across Research Ireland.
• Manage budgets and co-funded programmes with external partners.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Engage with national and international stakeholders and represent the agency.
