Medforce Healthcare Recruitment in partnership with our client, a Children and Family Services based in the Mid West Region of Ireland (Co. Laois and Co.

Offaly), are recruiting a dedicated Social Worker (CORU Registered) for the Safety and Welfare team. You will undertake assessments, contribute to care and support planning, coordinate interventions and work with colleagues and other professionals to safeguard children and support families.

Qualifications

• Must have CORU registration and a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience in child protection, safeguarding or child and family services desirable.

Social Worker (CORU Registered) – Mid West Region (Laois and Offaly)

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment in partnership with our client a Children and Family Services based in the Mid West Region of Ireland (Co. Laois and Co. Offaly) are currently recruiting a dedicated Social Worker for an opportunity within a Safety and Welfare team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with children and families, contributing to safeguarding, assessment and intervention while supporting positive outcomes for children and young people.

The Role

As a Social Worker, you will play an important role in promoting the safety and welfare of children and supporting families. You will undertake assessments, contribute to care and support planning, coordinate interventions and work collaboratively with colleagues and relevant professionals.

What’s on Offer?

• Salary: €44,875–€65,040 per annum, depending on incremental point

• Hours: 35 hours per week

• Contract: Specified-purpose contract, expected to run until 1 April 2027
