Social Media Manager (Ireland & International Markets)

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead social media strategy, execution and performance for Ireland while supporting select additional markets and the broader global social media function.

This role is responsible for developing and activating paid and organic social strategies that build brand visibility, elevate thought leadership, support demand generation and drive measurable business impact. The ideal candidate brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to translate business priorities into effective social programs across platforms and audiences.

In addition to market leadership responsibilities, this individual will play a key role within the global social media team, helping to establish best practices, drive governance and reporting standards, share insights across markets and support the development of scalable social media programs.

The role requires strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, analytical expertise and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment. Success will be measured not only by engagement, reach and audience growth, but also by contribution to website traffic, lead generation, campaign performance and marketing pipeline and other business critical KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead social media strategy for Ireland across paid and organic channels, aligning plans to business priorities, campaign goals, and brand objectives.

  • Serve as the primary social media lead and subject matter expert for Ireland, partnering with campaign leads, content, creative, communications, and business stakeholders to ensure social is integrated early into campaign planning and content development.

  • Support social media activity for additional markets as needed, helping create consistency while adapting content and execution to local market needs.

  • Increase the visibility of firm partners and subject matter experts through social media, identifying opportunities to amplify thought leadership and share best practices across markets.

Content, Social Community & Campaign Execution

  • Strategically activate and repurpose priority marketing assets, including reports, research, events, articles, videos, and thought leadership, into multi-week social campaigns to extend reach, engagement and business value.

  • Plan, schedule, publish, monitor, and optimize organic and paid social content across multiple platforms (LI, FB, IG, X, YT) and markets.

  • Develop and maintain integrated social media content calendars aligned to campaign, brand and business priorities.

  • Manage social pages, community engagement and monitor/respond to comments while helping maintain brand standards and social governance across social channels.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Own social media measurement, reporting and performance analysis across Ireland and supported markets.

  • Establish and track KPIs and metrics that demonstrate both social campaign performance and business impact, including audience engagement, brand visibility, website traffic, lead generation and contribution to marketing pipeline.

  • Implement tagging and UTM requirements to support accurate reporting and attribution.

  • Translate performance data into actionable insights, optimizations and recommendations that improve content effectiveness, audience engagement, business outcomes and inform future social strategies.

  • Ensure social content and publishing practices align with brand, risk, legal and governance requirements across supported markets.

  • Conduct competitive analysis, trend monitoring and audience research to identify growth opportunities and emerging best practices.

Global Social Team Contribution

  • Support the development and expansion of the firm's global social media capability.

  • Partner with social media leaders and stakeholders across international markets to share learnings, identify best practices, and improve consistency across programs.

  • Contribute to the development of social media governance, processes, playbooks, measurement frameworks, reporting standards and training programs.

  • Help drive innovation, testing and adoption across social platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing social media strategies and programs, preferably in a B2B, professional services and/or complex matrixed environment.

  • Hands-on experience planning, publishing, monitoring and reporting across major social platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

  • Experience managing both paid and organic social media programs.

  • Strong understanding of how social media supports brand visibility, thought leadership, demand generation and broader marketing/business goals.

  • Proven ability to advise and influence cross-functional stakeholders, translating business priorities into clear social media recommendations and execution plans.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Experience using social media management platforms; Hootsuite experience preferred but not required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, countries and stakeholder groups.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting social media programs across multiple countries, regions or international markets.

  • Experience with LinkedIn advertising and other paid social platforms such as Meta, X and YouTube
