Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Change Manager to join our Consulting practice in Cork. You will lead on client change initiatives, drive workshops, and deliver strategic recommendations while coordinating with project teams and senior leaders.

You will manage end-to-end delivery of change programmes, engage stakeholders across Ireland and internationally, and help build our practice through best-practice methods and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading end-to-end change projects.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to solve complex issues via research, workshops, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead delivery of client projects by devising work plans and managing teams and budgets.

Job Description & Summary

We are seeking a Change Manager to be part of our Consulting practice. The position offers a chance to contribute to and support a variety of client engagements, helping drive project team success. You will have exposure to a variety of clients and the opportunity to lead on exciting and challenging projects and be responsible for providing regular updates to the Director and Partner team. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with clients to solve complex issues by conducting in-depth research, leading workshops, performing comprehensive analysis and delivering strategic recommendations, all while leveraging a combination of expertise, industry insights, cutting-edge tools and technology.
  • Leading the delivery of client projects and workstreams by devising strategic work plans, managing team performance and financials, and ensuring the production of exceptional, high-quality deliverables (e.g. formal reports, presentations, etc.).
  • Partnering with clients in Ireland and internationally to drive the successful delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and objectives.
  • Engaging with diverse stakeholders and establishing yourself as a change/subject matter expert both within client organisations and among colleagues.
  • Bringing a holistic perspective to the challenges of managing diverse teams, focusing on crafting effective strategies to navigate these complexities, while demonstrating a deep understanding of the Firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive and diverse culture.
  • Leading and supporting the end-to-end delivery of client Change projects, from initiation through to successful completion.
  • Building strong relationships with project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and successful client delivery.
  • Actively contributing to the growth of the internal practice by shaping propositions, refining methodologies and spearheading the development and promotion of thought leadership initiatives, while actively encouraging knowledge capture and sharing across the team.
Education and Certifications
  • A third-level degree, with a strong academic record.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a Consulting or corporate environment.
  • Qualification in Project/Program Management (e.g., PRINCE 2, Agile, Scrum).
  • Qualification in Change Management e.g Prosci
Skills and Competencies

The candidate must have proven expertise and experience in at least two (and ideally more) of the following areas:

  • Managing end-to-end Change Management processes, including Change Impact Assessments, Change Leadership, Stakeholder Engagement, Cultural and Behavioural Change, Business Readiness and Learning and Development.
  • Developing and delivering large-scale change programmes.
  • Designing and implementing Operating Models and Organisational Structures.
  • Developing and delivering Learning and Development programmes.
  • Organisational Structure Transition Management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to create comprehensive reports and compelling presentations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and deliver results in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • A proven track record of successfully contributing to and leading projects.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in building strong networks and fostering client relationships.
  • Proven ability to thrive and deliver results under pressure.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
