Job summary

Orchard Community Care are looking for empathetic, motivated and caring Social Care Workers/Residential Care Workers, to work in our residential services across multiple counties in Ireland. Roles involve 48 hours per week on a rolling roster with 12 & 24 hour shifts.

Our services support children and adults with significant and complex needs, with a minimum gross annual salary of €45,219 and 4 weeks annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
• Level 7 or above in Social Care, Social Science, Psychology, Education or related field.
• Full manual driving licence with eligibility to drive in Ireland.
• Must have full eligibility and availability to work with us without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for supporting the day to day running of the service and responsible for the execution and delivery of person–centred approach.
• Under the general supervision of the line manager, ensure that the people we support personal plan is completed in line with regulations and standards provided.
• Be committed to pro-actively supporting the people we support in their daily lives and choices.
• Ensure that all files are in line and ready for HIQA Inspection at any given time.
• Engage with families, clinicians and building links in the community.
• Experience implementing positive support programmes.

Orchard Community Care are looking for empathetic, motivated and caring Social Care Workers/Residential Care Workers, to work in our residential services in Counties: Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, Galway, Longford, Limerick, Kerry, Waterford, Carlow Cork, Westmeath, Laois, and Wexford.

Orchard Community Care has a number of opportunities for permanent – full time Social Care Workers/Residential Care Workers. Working on a shift rota, you will engage in daily activities and routines of the services, providing dedicated direct support to the people we care for as well as contributing to their development, health and wellbeing.

Working hours will be 48 hours per week as part of the rolling roster in place. Rosters include 12 & 24 hours shifts.

Gross Annual Salary minimum €45219 (minimum 5 years relevant work experience)

Our residential services support children and adults with significant and complex needs. Working with families and the community, we support our young people to build their independence and resilience.

• Essential Requirements: Candidates must hold a Level 7 or above in a relevant area: e.g. Social Care, Social Science, Psychology, Education, Youth & Community etc
