Social Care Worker Role in Mayo

Salary: €17.88 to €26.90 per hour depending on experience.

We are currently recruiting a Social Care Worker on behalf of our client to support individuals to live meaningful, independent and fulfilling lives.

This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive service where you will work alongside individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

The Role

You will:

• Support individuals with their daily lives, personal goals and independence
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Plans
• Provide personal care and practical support where required
• Support individuals with high and/or complex needs
• Promote choice, inclusion, dignity and positive outcomes
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain high standards in line with HIQA requirements

Requirements

• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker, or an eligible qualification with an ongoing CORU registration application
• Experience delivering person-centred support
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full driver's licence is essential
• Flexibility to work sleep-ins as part of the role
