The Bridge Camphill Communities of Ireland Kilcullen are recruiting for Social Care Workers to join our Bridge Community in Co Kildare. This permanent, full-time position offers 40 hours per week and a salary between €39,088 and €56,349 per annum.

Candidates will hold QQI Level 7 or equivalent, CORU registration in progress, and have at least one year of experience supporting vulnerable adults. Garda Vetting and references apply; driving licence and own car are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum QQI Level 7 or BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent.
• CORU registration or proof of application in progress.
• At least 1 year experience with vulnerable adults or intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current policy and developments in social care for disability services.
• Ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to plans to meet ongoing needs.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office; full driving licence and own car.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for Social Care Workers to join our Bridge Community, Co Kildare

Job Title: Social Care Worker

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week)

Salary: €39,088 - €56,349 per annum

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress
• Have 1 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
