Job summary

Ability West seeks a Social Care Worker to deliver one-to-one support in Galway City within an individualised service. The role focuses on empowering a young person to live an autonomous life with dignity and respect.

You will join a dedicated team providing community and in-house supports, with training opportunities and a pension scheme. A full driving license and CORU registration are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 degree in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification.
• CORU Registration or in process of registration.
• Experience with people with intellectual disability or similar field.
• Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

We have an opportunity for Social Care Worker to work in an individualised service in Galway City. It is a one to one service supporting a young individual.

• A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification.
• CORU Registration or in process of registration
• Previous experience working with people with an intellectual disability or a similar field.
• Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
