Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting Social Care Workers for a dedicated childrens residential service across County Tipperary, Offaly and Laois.

You will provide high-quality, child-centred care, implement individual care plans, and work within HIQA safeguarding standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support development and wellbeing of children under 12.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• Commitment to supporting children under 12 in care.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, child-centred care within a residential setting.
• Implement individual care plans to support emotional, social, and educational development.
• Promote a safe and supportive environment in line with HIQA standards and safeguarding legislation.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

• A Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
• A genuine commitment to supporting children under 12 in care
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
• Knowledge of HIQA standards, child protection, and safeguarding practices
• The ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds and experiences

Salary

• €39,936 (0–2 years’ experience)
• €42,432 (2+ years’ experience)
