Job summary

Qualifications

• CORU registration or in process subject to requirements.
• Relevant social care qualification matching role requirements.
• Experience in intellectual disability services, autism, residential care or similar supported living settings is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, professional and person-centred care approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred social care and support to individuals.
• Work within CORU guidelines and safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet individual care goals.
• Adapt support to individuals' needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance documentation and training requirements are up to date.

REQUIREMENTS

• CORU registered Social Care Workers or applicants currently in the CORU registration process, subject to applicable registration requirements.

• A relevant Social Care qualification that meets the requirements for the role.

• Experience in intellectual disability services, autism, residential care or supporting individuals with complex needs is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach to care.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• The right to work in Ireland.
