Job summary

Inclusive Living Ireland seeks a dedicated Team Lead to oversee daily centre operations, reporting to the Manager and acting as their deputy when required. You will ensure HIQA/HSE compliance and promote best practice in disability services.

Collaborating with families and the MDT, you will lead staff supervision, develop teams, and safeguard residents. A person-centred, compassionate approach is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• CORU (Social Care) or NMBI registration, or in process of applying.
• A relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Nursing, or related field.
• Driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

Overall Purpose of the Role

The role involves ensuring full compliance with HIQA/HSE standards, while implementing Inclusive Living’s policies to promote best practice in disability services.

Key responsibilities include working in a person-centred way with service users, in line with Inclusive Living’s values, and in collaboration with families, the MDT, and other relevant bodies.

The Team Lead will ensure a safe, effective service, support staff development and supervision, set standards, facilitate communication, manage staff teams, and monitor risk and safeguarding. Standard setting, facilitating communication, managing staff teams, monitoring of risk and safeguarding.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have:

• Valid registration with CORU (Social Care) or the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or currently in the process of applying for registration.
• An appropriate third-level qualification in Social Care, Nursing, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience of working in the social care field.
• A full driving licence is desirable.
