Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is recruiting Social Care Assistants for Grangemockler. CCoI supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism and operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations.

This permanent, full-time post offers a salary of €34,884 - €43,193 per annum. Candidates will hold QQI Level 5 Major Award (or BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent) and have at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework or BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification.
• Have 1 years' experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for Social Care Assistants to join our team in Grangemockler.

Job Title: Social Care Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week)

Salary: €34,884- €43,193 per annum

What you will need:
